Mme Zhang Luping Delivering A Lecture At Tsinghua University

On April 24, 2006, Mme Zhang Luping was invited to deliver a lecture at Tsinghua University. The topic of the speech is “Living With Wordless Friends”. She made an introduction of the current status of animal protection in China and the development and strategic direction of the Beijing Human and Animal Environmental Education Center (BHAEEC), and answered the questions of the students.
Zhang Luping stressed the urgency and importance of animal protection legislation in China, which is the ultimate solution of eliminating the practice of abusing and deserting animals. This idea was well received and agreed by the students who expressed their willingness to make contribution to promoting the animal protection legislation using their own power.
