In 2001, the International Fund of Animal Welfare (IFAW) from USA has awarded the certificate of Model Base for Companion Animals Protection to the center, and the Outstanding Contributor of Animal Protection to Zhang Luping.
In the year 2002, the president of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), Mr. Peter Davis, awarded the Certificate of Association to the center, which is the first time that RSPCA awarded such certificates to a privately-run animal shelter in the world.
