Founding and Development of BHAEEC
· In 1990，Zhang Luping started to shelter the homeless animals in her office；
· In 1995，with the increasing number of the animals rescued, Zhang Luping had to “hide” in the countryside of Shi Li He and Da Xing County for over 2 years with her over 100 animals；
· In 1997，Zhang Luping founded the “Beijing Human and Animal Environmental Education Center”, and renovated a deserted military base in Mentougou District. She moved there with her around 200 animals and lived for 4 years；
· In 2001，Zhang Luping sold her remaining private properties to raise enough money to relocate her center in Changping, with support of IFAW (International Foundation of Animal Welfare) and RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)；
· Up to now，BHAEEC has rescued and sheltered over 1,000 homeless and abused animals。
